Naxals fire at Dantewada probe team- courtesy ibnlive.com

After killing 75 CRPF Jawans in Dantewada a couple of days ago, the Naxals opened fire again at the probe team.
I just have one question to ask from our lawmakers and people who are responsible for the safety of the citizens of India. Aren't we competent enough to tackle this problem and stop this bloodshed? If not, then we don't deserve this independence which was gifted to us by our forefathers who fought to the last drop of their blood so that we can enjoy this freedom.
A small country like Sri Lanka, which is much smaller in size, resources and manpower than India, wiped off one of the deadliest groups, LTTE,which was perceived to be 100 times better equipped and resourceful than these Naxals and Maoists, with its sheer dedication to finish it off.
Today, these Naxals /Maoists have supposedly become so mighty and powerful that now they have the guts to ambush and kill our security forces whenever they feel like. This is not the first time when our forces or Jawans have been killed, its just that, this time it was more violent and on a bigger scale. Although this time it was not only limited to killing the security personals, if this news is to be believed, this time they have fired at the investigating team sending out a loud and clear message to the government that they aren't going to be stopped. It is a shame for a country which has a mighty and strong pool of army, air force, police and other forces. In return, what we are doing is forming a committee and like always this report will also find its place in some corner of the government record room. Isn't this the time to retaliate or are we still waiting for another Dantewada or something bigger even than this. If intelligence services are to be believed, the Naxal/Maoist duo is expanding day by day throughout India.
With due respect to Mr.Chidambaram's view that members in Naxal/Maoist organization are also our own people, I would just like to point out an example. At times, some disease affects our hand or leg and doctors are not left with any other option than to amputate it so that the disease doesn't spread to any other parts of the body. In the same way, this problem has also mounted to such an extent that we need to amputate it. Otherwise, that day is not too far when this disease will enter our house and kill each one of us.
It is the time to not only question our Government but also seek the answers! Do our soldiers deserve a death like this? Is human life so cheap, after all?
